Wells Farm
Founded in 1661

For 12 generations, the Wells family has been farming for a living. Even though vegetables have always been the main aspect of the business, animals were always around the farm as a source of food for the family. There were chickens for both eating and egg laying, cows for milk, and pigs for meat. Throughout the years as the population on Long Island increased and summer bar-be-ques became more popular our animals started being sold to the public. Now we are a USDA custom slaughter facility. We supply individuals with animals for their freezers and bar-be-ques throughout Long Island, New York City, and New Jersey.
